Message from the President

The Emory Beacon of Light is pleased to announce effective April the 2nd, the appointment of Alisa Molyneaux as our new Executive Director.  Alisa is not new to the Beacon of Light. In fact, she served on our very first board of directors.  Alisa has been working at EBOL as a program manager for almost a year and has taken over the day to day responsibilities gradually.  She seems to have a passion for our food programs especially the weekend back pack program for children in the community.  She has experience as a commercial property manager and is currently representing us on the construction team for the new Beacon Center.  Alisa is also a member of Emory UMC and has been very active in her church as well as community programs.  Please join me in welcoming her to this new position.

Message from Executive Director

I want to thank Hazel and the Emory Beacon of Light, Inc. board for allowing me to be the Executive Director of this great organization.  I feel that you are empowering me to make our Georgia Avenue corridor the best corridor in the city.  I am blessed to be working with such a dynamic team and I am excited to see EBOL continue to strive in its mission in becoming a dynamic change agent within the Brightwood community and surrounding area.

Thank you all for your well wishes on my promotion. Sorry for the delayed response, but I don’t make it to the website often.
